Ecological Grief, Anxiety & Hope Workshops
Using connection, grief theory and hope to support environmental professionals and others to find their whole, fun and nourished selves.
Building resilience, improving mental health and exploring the challenges and celebrations of working to regenerate and rewild Nature.
Ecological Grief
Many of us have grief and anger about our fragile ecosystems and possibly shame too. Working in this field can be incredibly stressful and overwhelming.
My facilitated workshops and one-to-one sessions support exploration of the many emotions and pressures those in the sector can experience. We explore boundaries, steps we can take, grief theories and how to micro-dose hope; rediscovering our why and planning our how.
We know that being in nature can help to support emotional and cognitive processes, reduce stress hormones and strengthen our immune systems*.
This is due to so many factors
The essential oils of trees - phytoncides - have been proven to reduce cortisol levels, increase T cells and regulate our levels of dopamine and serotonin.
Natural daylight being essential to the synthesis of vitamin D, supporting our mood, blood pressure.
Fractal patterns in nature calm us…
These and so much more increase wellbeing, especially when implemented alongside talking therapies and restorative time for ourselves so sessions are outside wherever possible.
My work combines facilitating, listening, holding the space alongside the beauty and beneficial effects of Nature, as well as public speaking.

“Jen is the perfect person to lead this work, with her warmth, sensitivity, wisdom and humour, and her deep knowledge about grief and healing. She held a safe, nurturing space for us to explore our feelings and respect our pain whilst nourishing ourselves with hope, to keep moving towards our better future. It was a powerful, healing experience.”
